Concurrently Uploading Multimedia Objects and Associating Metadata with the Multimedia Objects

In one embodiment, a first computing device receives a first user input selecting a set of multimedia objects stored on the first computing device, and initiates upload of the set of multimedia objects to a second computing device. While the upload is in progress, a second user input is concurrently received selecting a subset of the set of multimedia objects, and a third user input is concurrently received comprising metadata, and the metadata is associated with one or more multimedia objects from the subset of multimedia objects.

1. A method comprising:
by a first computing device, in response to a first user input selecting a set of multimedia objects stored on the first computing device, initiating upload of the set of multimedia objects to a second computing device; by the first computing device, while the upload is in progress, concurrently receiving a second user input indicating user selection of a subset of the set of multimedia objects; and by the first computing device, while the upload is in progress, concurrently receiving a third user input comprising metadata and associating at least a portion of the metadata with one or more multimedia objects from the subset of multimedia objects.
