Provided is a repeater which performs a master function according to an embodiment of the present invention, the repeater comprising: a first communication unit for receiving first state data indicating each state of at least one client repeater from the at least one client repeater according to a first communication method; a data framer for generating second state data by adding master identification information for identifying the repeater to the received first state data; and a second communication unit for transmitting the second state data to a monitoring device according to a second communication method.
