A lower grille assembly preventing light leakage, being fixedly connected to a bumper cover (3) of an automobile and comprising a lower grille body (1) with a catch installation hole (11) and a lower grille panel (2) with a catch (21); the lower grille panel (2) is fixedly connected to the lower grille body (1) via the catch (21) and the catch installation hole (11); a catch flange (22) extending outward is provided on the catch (21) of the lower grille panel (2), such that the catch (21) is formed into a U-shaped groove having an end receiving the cover (3) and in a clearance fit with the end, so as to clamp and support the cover (3), effectively ensuring a Z-shaped clearance between the panel and the cover (3), preventing the cover (3) from dropping due to dead weight, and avoiding severe light leakage due to an increase of the Z-shaped clearance between the cover (3) and the lower grille assembly resulting from deformation of the lower grille assembly. The lower grille assembly has a simple structure and is easy to install, without the need to change the overall shape and assembly sequence thereof. |
