The present invention relates to an Fe-Cu alloy to shield an electromagnetic wave using an Fe wire and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the manufacturing method of the Fe-Cu alloy to shield the electromagnetic wave comprises: (a) a step of melting copper (Cu); (b) a step of adding Fe wire to the molten copper, and stirring the molten copper and the Fe wire to manufacture molten metal; and (c) a step of casting the molten metal wherein the Fe-Cu alloy includes 2-70 wt% of iron and the remainder consisting of copper. When manufacturing the Fe-Cu alloy in accordance with the present invention, the Fe wire (a wire wherein Fe powder is coated with a thin copper plate) is used instead of pure iron or an iron master alloy to remarkably reduce segregation. Also, the Fe wire is used to adjust an iron content in the Fe-Cu alloy in the range of 2-70 wt%. |
