By a management device and a management method according to the present invention, on the basis of collected weather information, a device operation record, a condition value and an acceptable range that are set for an area where the device is installed, and an electric power suppression time during which electric power is suppressed, a change time for changing the condition value of the area by the operation of the device in accordance with the electric power suppression time is calculated. Then, the device is controlled by generating, using the calculated change time, a control schedule for controlling the device. As a result, the use amount of electric power can be reduced in accordance with the electric power suppression time within the range of the condition value set for the area where the device is installed. |
