A method for producing a soft polyurethane foam having a polyurethane gel embedded in the cell walls or cell edges and made of reaction partners reacting with each other during a predetermined gelling time, wherein the reaction components of the polyurethane foam, namely a polyol component and an isocyanate component, are foamed with the polyurethane gel and, if necessary, with additives while using a propellant during a foaming time. In order to create advantageous production conditions, it is proposed that the premixed reaction partners of the polyurethane gel are admixed prior to the end of the gelling time of at least one reaction component of the polyurethane foam and fully react within the foaming time of the polyurethane foam. |
