A display device suitable for increasing in size, a display device where display unevenness is suppressed, or a display device that can display an image on a curved surface is provided. The display device includes a first display panel, a second display panel, a first adhesive layer, and a substrate. The first and second display panels each include a first region, a second region, and a barrier layer. The barrier layer includes a portion overlapping with the first region and a portion overlapping with the second region. The first region includes a region transmitting visible light. The second region can display an image. The barrier layer contains an inorganic insulating material and includes a region in contact with the first adhesive layer and a region with a thickness of 10 nm to 2 micro meter. The display device includes a region where the substrate, the first adhesive layer, the first region of the second display panel, and the second region of the first display panel overlap each other. |
