SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING VEHICLE NOISE

A noise control system and a method are provided. The method includes receiving, by a controller, a reference signal in response to a noise and an error signal that corresponds to residual noise. A control signal is generated for cancelling the noise based on the reference signal. In addition, the controller outputs a vibration according to the control signal to generate a cancellation signal for cancelling the noise. A phase delay of the reference signal is compensated for by the controller and updates a filter value of the adaptive filter based on the reference signal passing through the path compensation filter and the error signal.

a memory configured to store program instructions; and a processor configured to execute the program instructions, the program instructions when executed configured to:
receive a reference signal in response to noise generated by a noise source;receive an error signal that corresponds to residual noise;generate a control signal for cancelling the noise based on the reference signal;compensate for a phase delay of the reference signal;update a filter value of the adaptive filter based on the reference signal passing through the path compensation filter and the error signal; andoutput vibration according to the control signal to generate a cancellation signal for cancelling the noise.
