The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for inexpensively, stably and industrially producing, at high yields, lacosamide having high optical purity. The abovementioned problem is solved by providing a method for inexpensively, stably and industrially producing, at high yields, lacosamide having high optical purity is made possible by implementing, as a key step, amination using benzylamine or a derivative thereof. The abovementioned problem is further solved by providing an intermediate that is useful in the production of lacosamide. |
