The present invention provides a medical instrument that can be reliably attached to a drug dispensing part without breaking a locking mechanism; an injection needle assembly; and a drug injection apparatus equipped with the injection needle assembly. An insertion part of this injection needle assembly, through tapered mating, engages the drug dispensing part of a syringe inserted therein and is secured to the syringe by a locking mechanism. The assembly is provided with a restricting part that, when the drug dispensing part is inserted into the insertion part, and a first thread part of the locking mechanism and a second thread part of the insertion part mate in a threaded manner, comes into contact with the locking mechanism, thereby restricting the drug dispensing part from pushing into the insertion part. Pushing of the drug dispensing part into the insertion part is restricted by this restricting part. |
