The present application belonging to the technical field of television communications provides a television switching method and device. The method comprises: during an execution course of a video service, saving a play record of the video service, while detecting a switching order, hanging up the video service to a background or directly exiting, and activating an other video service or an other application; and during an execution course of an other video service or an other application, while detecting a switching order, hanging up the current executed other video service or other application to the background or directly exiting, invoking a latest time saved play record of the video service, activating the video service corresponding to the play record, and continuing to play according to the play record. The device comprises a video processing module and a video switching module. To restart an application list and select a video program in the application list to look up are not needed by the present invention being easy and shortcut, so that time is saved and usage is convenient. |
