ENCLOSURE FOR AN ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT

An enclosure for an electronic control unit is specified which comprises a rigid housing element for receiving electronic components of the electronic control unit, an elastic cover covering an open side of the housing element and a protrusion element attached to or comprised by the rigid housing element. The cover abuts the protrusion element with a predetermined force when barometric pressures on different sides of the cover are equal. The cover comprises an aperture in the region where the cover abuts the protrusion element. Further, an electronic control unit with the enclosure is specified.
