A subscriber station (11; 12) for a bus system (1) and a method for wideband communication in a bus system (1) are provided. The subscriber station (11; 12) comprises a communication control device (111; 121) for creating or reading at least one message (3; 31, 32; 33; 31, 33) for/from at least one further subscriber station of the bus system (1), in which an exclusive, collision-free access to a bus line (10) of the bus system (1) by a subscriber station (11 to 19) is ensured at least at times, wherein the communication control device (111; 121) is designed to create channel state information in accordance with a temporal order for transmission as defined in the bus system (1) for the subscriber station (11; 12), such that the subscriber station (11; 12) does not have to transmit the channel state information in every message (3; 31, 32; 33; 31, 33), and wherein the channel state information comprises information for determining the channel characteristic between the subscriber station (11; 12) and the further subscriber station (12 to 19; 11, 13 to 19) of the bus system (1) to which the message (3; 31, 32; 33; 31, 33) is to be transmitted. |
