SERVER FOR PROVIDING BLOCK GAME AND METHOD OF OPERATING SERVER

Disclosed are a server providing a block game and an operation method for a server providing a block game. The server providing the block game includes: a database storing block data; a processor arranging multiple pieces of block data extracted from the database, on a block plate by being interlocked with a game play request from a terminal and adding special block data to the block plate by generating the special block data if a pair of the block data selected by the terminal is connected to each other and is continuously removed, among the block data; and a user interface providing the block plate to the terminal. The processor can remove at least the block data in the block plate arranged by being in contact with the certain block data when the special block data is selected to be connected to the certain block data.
