The present invention relates to an apparatus for blocking a coolant flow channel of a mold that can air-tightly block a coolant flow channel in which the flow of coolant has to be interrupted in order to change the flow direction of coolant in a mold, and has heat resistance and durability. The apparatus for blocking a coolant flow channel of a mold comprises: a fastening bolt (10) that includes a bolt part (11) and a head part (12); a base (70) that has a screw hole (71) formed therein to which the bolt part is screw-coupled; and a resilient ring (60), a resilient ring fixing piece (50), a press ring (40), an extension spring (30), and a seat member (20) that are interposed between the fastening bolt and the base in the direction from the base to the fastening bolt, wherein the resilient ring fixing piece (50) has a resilient ring fixing portion (51) formed on the outer periphery thereof for receiving and fixing the inner peripheral surface of the resilient ring (60), the inner peripheral surface of the resilient ring (60) is fitted into the resilient ring fixing portion, and the base (70), which has the screw-hole (71) formed therein, is provided with a body (80) for protecting the base through insert-molding with nylon 66, the body including an upper cylindrical part (81), a lower cylindrical part (82) that has a larger outer diameter than the upper cylindrical part, and a step (83) formed at the junction between the upper/lower cylindrical parts. |
