A quality detection method for an active ingredient phillyrin comprises: preparation of the active ingredient phillyrin, thin-layer identification of phillyrin, measurement of the content of phillyrin through a liquid chromatograph, detection of related substances such as phillygenin, heavy metals and residual solvents in the active ingredient, detection of weight loss on drying, and detection of residues on ignition. The method is mainly used for quality control of the phillyrin active ingredient and preparations thereof, has the characteristics of simplicity and convenience, stability, and good reproducibility, improves the detection efficiency, and ensures the treatment effect of the phillyrin active ingredient and preparations thereof.
