receiving, at a user equipment (UE), a configuration for an eI-DRX cycle; identifying a change in a downlink channel reliability condition associated with the UE; and determining when to perform downlink channel monitoring based on the received eI-DRX cycle and the identified downlink channel reliability condition. |
