摘要 Disclosed are a method and apparatus for identifying causes for cable overcurrent, the method comprising: performing single-phase overcurrent detection on a three-phase current signal (S100); when the presence of single-phase overcurrent in the three-phase current signal is detected, determining an index feature vector sample of an overcurrent phase current signal (S110); calculating the coefficient of correlation between the index feature vector sample and each index of each of predetermined index vector reference samples (S120), one index vector reference sample corresponding to one cause for single-phase overcurrent; calculating the degree of correlation between the index feature vector sample and each of the predetermined index vector reference sample by use of index weight vectors and the coefficients of correlation of the indexes (S130); and finding the cause for single-phase overcurrent to which the index vector reference sample having the maximum degree of correlation corresponds, thereby identifying early cable failures.
