The invention relates to a current collector device for vehicles operated by overhead-contact systems, said device comprising an arm (12) having a current collector head (16), one end of which arm can be pivotally arranged on a roof section (10) of a vehicle operated by overhead contact and the other end of which is designed to interact with a contact wire (18) in order to pick up electrical current, with which arm elevation means (22) for controlled raising and lowering are associated. The elevation means (22) operate pneumatically and/or hydraulically and are designed to exert a contact force of the current collector head (16) on the contact wire (18), said force being pre-determined and/or pre-settable and/or controlled to at least one set value (36). |
