The invention relates to a driving assistance system comprising at least one receiving module designed to receive perception data (DVEH, DLOC, DMES, DEXT) relating to the perception of the driving environment, and a control module (50) designed to control an on-board system. The driving assistance system comprises a conversion module (10) designed to generate, on the basis of the perception data (DVEH, DLOC, DMES, DEXT), a plurality of instances (INSTi) of classes of an ontology (20) stored in the driving assistance system and defining relations between classes, in addition to a reasoning tool (40) designed to deduce, on the basis of the ontology (20, ONT), at least one property (PRED) of an instance (INSTi) of said plurality of instances. The control module (50) is designed to control the on-board system, on the basis of the deduced property (PRED). The invention also relates to a method implemented in such a system. |
