The present invention relates to a low voltage drop regulator used in an integrated circuit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the low voltage drop regulator comprises a variable feedforward circuit wherein the variable feedforward circuit has a high value when a load resistance is large and has a low value when the load resistance is small. The low voltage drop regulator can perform a phase margin (PM) performance under a condition having the worst stability without increasing a size of a capacitor and can increase the maximum current efficiency of the low voltage drop regulator by reducing idle currents when the load resistance is small.
