The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device which prevents a thin film transistor from providing heat and deteriorating at a dummy stage circuit unit by one or more dummy stages at a shift resister of a gate driving unit reducing a section where a high level signal is outputted and maintained. The liquid crystal display device includes: a timing control unit outputting a clock signal and a gate start signal; a clock signal phase modulation unit modulating a phase of the clock signal in accordance with the clock signal and the gate start signal; a level shifter outputting a first open signal and a second open signal from the clock signal and the gate start signal; N number (wherein, N is a natural number) of stage circuit units and at least one dummy stage circuit unit; and the shift register reset by the first open signal. |
