In this invention, wireless data communication between a plurality of information processing terminals is controlled appropriately. A first information processing device, which wirelessly receives, from another information processing device, a stream for outputting image information, is provided with a wireless communication unit and a control unit. The wireless communication unit communicates with the other information processing device so as to exchange capability information pertaining to the first information processing device and capability information pertaining to the other information processing device. On the basis of the capability information pertaining to the other information processing device and the manner in which the first information processing device is being used, the abovementioned control unit executes a control routine for setting up stream multiple-reception diversity for the other information processing device. |
