<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector capable of causing a fluid sample to be effectively adsorbed on surfaces of optical devices or to be effectively desorbed therefrom after detection thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A detector 100 includes: optical devices 20 and 170; an ionizing section 80 for ionizing a fluid sample introduced into space in which the optical devices 20 and 170 are disposed; a charging section 90 for charging the optical devices 20 and 170 such that the optical devices 20 and 170 have an electric charge of a polarity reverse to a polarity of an electric charge of the fluid sample charged by ionization; a light source 50 for irradiating the optical devices 20 and 170 with light; and a light detecting section 60 for detecting light from a specified substance contained in the fluid sample electrostatically adsorbed by the optical devices 20 and 170. After a detection period in the light detecting section 60 is completed, the charging section 90 can also charge the optical devices 20 and 170 such that the optical devices 20 and 170 have an electric charge of the same polarity as the polarity of the electric charge of the fluid sample charged by the ionization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
