PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of reducing accumulation of dust on a floor surface by detecting change before dust particles floating in an in-chamber space gradually lower and precipitate and then dust starts accumulating on the floor surface, and performing air cleaning operation for collecting the dust particles.SOLUTION: An air cleaner includes a main body 1 provided with: a human detection sensor 8 as presence determination means determining the presence/absence of a person in a room; and a control unit 9 controlling operation of a fan motor 7. The control unit 9 has a cleaning mode in which the fan motor 7 is operated in a predetermined time when the absence of a person is determined by the human detection sensor 8. Consequently, the air cleaner can reduce accumulation of dust on a floor surface. |
