A lever assembling device for a connector with a lever, for assembling the lever of the connector to a connector body, comprises a base and a lever insertion jig. The lever insertion jig is installed to the base from above to cover the connector body set onto the base, and includes fitting guides configured to guide the lever so that the shafts are fitted in the shaft bearing holes. When the lever is pushed down, the fitting guides slide with respect to inner surfaces of a pair of arm side plates of the lever so as to make the pair of arm side plates to be elastically deformed outwards. The lever insertion jig is moved in a detaching direction when the shafts are disposed in the shaft bearing holes so that the fitting guides are moved away from the position where the two arm side plates are slid. |
