A method and a device for acquiring an Identifier (ID) of a Maintenance End Point (MEP) are provided in the disclosure. The method includes: when a head node of a tunnel is establishing a bidirectional Label Switching Path (LSP), the head node of the tunnel transmits to a destination node of the tunnel a message for acquiring a tunnel ID configured for the destination node; and the destination node sends a message including the tunnel ID configured for the destination node to the head node in response to the message received from the head node. In the disclosure, the head node of the tunnel acquires the tunnel ID configured for the destination node through the message which is returned to the head node by the destination node of the tunnel and includes the tunnel ID configured for the destination node, so as to perform Connectivity Verification (CV) detection or other Operation, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) functions. Therefore, the problem of interconnection and interworking among different domains can be prevented when tunnel information is acquired by means of network management, so that the disclosure is easy to implement and has a wide range of application. |
