PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management system capable of obtaining information on commercial power supply with a simple system structure.SOLUTION: A reading meter 14 measures the commercial power supplied to each consumer and transmits the measured result to a communication network including the Internet NT1. A management server CS transmits a piece of power supply information on time-variation of the commercial power available for the consumer to the reading meter 14 via the communication network. A power management device 12 starts charging a rechargeable batty 15 and controls the recharging par unit time based on the power supply information received by the reading meter 14 so that the charged power in the rechargeable battery 15 reaches a predetermined target value by recharge termination time. |
