The power supply (1) has a solar cell (3) with a variable output voltage for a field device (7). An accumulator (9) is charged by a charging circuit (5), which is formed as an integrated circuit. The charging circuit is switched in a state, in which the output voltage is above a preset value i.e. rated voltage, such that the field device is operated over the solar cell and the solar cell is charged. The circuit is switched in another state, in which the output voltage is below the preset value, such that the device is supplied over the solar cell and to the accumulator. |
