A wearable device, such as a head-mountable device 10 in the form of glasses, includes a processor 15 adapted to respond to a user instruction given as a non-vocal sound generated by the user in their oral cavity and captured by microphone 25 and to perform an operation in response to the instruction. The non-vocal sounds can be a sucking noise, swallowing noise, slurping or whistling noise. The non-vocal sounds may be programmable. The device may also include an image sensor or camera 11 adapted to capture an image in response to the instruction. |
