PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately start an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A controller 14 determines that an internal combustion engine 22 is unable to restart if an engine speed NE is not more than a predetermined speed after passage of predetermined time since restart of an internal combustion engine 22 starts by supplying power to a starter motor 20 only from a capacitor 11. The controller 14 controls a contactor 15 in a connection state by turning on a contact relay 16. The controller 14 thereby drives the starter motor 20 by supplying power to the starter motor 20 from the capacitor 11 and a battery 12 to restart the internal combustion engine 22 by drive power of the starter motor 20. The controller 14 prohibits execution of next idling stop if the internal combustion engine 22 restarts by turning on the contact relay 16. |
