<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver powder for silver paste, configured to prevent generation of coarse particles and coagulation of particles, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: When silver liquid containing a silver complex is mixed with reductant solution to clean and filter silver particle slurry obtained by reducing the silver complex, and dried thereafter, it is heated and agitated in a rolling agitator in a vacuum atmosphere, pulverization is performed simultaneously. The mean particle size, measured by scanning electron microscopy, is 0.3-2.0 μm. The mean particle size D50 in a volume particle distribution to be obtained by laser diffraction method is 0.5-4.0 μm. The maximum particle size D100 is 15 μm or less. A rate of change in crystallite diameter, which is calculated from a diffraction peak by X-ray diffraction, between before and after pulverization is less than 25%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
