Packages slide down three superposed shoots 4, 5, 5a and are delivered at 6 to discharge conveyer 7, the fall of the packages from each upper shoot being controlled by a flap 8. Thus a package falling down shoot 5 strikes nose 14 to displace pivoted catch 11 to release flap 8 to permit the package to fall down to 6. Flap 8 holds up any package sliding down shoot 4 and is then moved upwards by spring 9 to relatch itself at 11. |
