PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate recommendation information which includes relatively lots of expensive items but does not reduce buying motives of a user.SOLUTION: An information selection device comprises: a price information storage part for associating an identifier to identify an item or a category with price information of the item or the category to store them; a relevant aggregation storage part for storing identifiers of a plurality of other items or categories which become relevant targets, along with relevance degrees showing strength of relevance, for an identifier of one item or category as a reference; and an information selection part for acquiring the price information and the relevance degree of each identifier of the relevant target, for an identifier as a reference by referring the price information storage part and the relevant aggregation storage part, determining price information conditions for the price information and relevance degree conditions for the relevance degree on the basis of a prescribed reference, extracting identifiers whose price information satisfies the price information conditions and whose relevance degree satisfies the relevance degree conditions, and selecting the identifiers as a selected aggregation corresponding to the identifier as the reference. |
