<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train position detection system that can detect the train position properly without the sending and receiving processing to measure the train position. <P>SOLUTION: The train position detection system includes: an onboard device 3 that is mounted to a train 2 that travels on a prescribed track; an onboard radio 4 that sends and receives the information of the onboard device 3; a railway-tracks radio 5 installed at a prescribed position on the ground; and ground equipment 6 that is connected with the railway-tracks radio 5 to be able to send and receive the information. The ground equipment 6 monitors the communication situation between the railway-tracks radios 5 each other or between the railway-tracks radio 5 and the onboard radio 4, and when the communication is interrupted, detects existence the train 2 in the position to which the communication is interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
