<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for inhibiting production of inflammatory cytokine for inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokine by irradiating a patient to be treated with radiation light radiated from a discharge tube. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for inhibiting production of inflammatory cytokine includes: a discharge tube 2; a wavelength transmission unit 4 for transmitting the radiation light having a wavelength within a range of 566.5 nm or more and 780 nm or less in radiation light radiated from the discharge tube 2; and a light emission control unit 5 for controlling light emission of the discharge tube 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
