The LED-light (1) has an appliance base holding a carrier plate (5) and including a converter with an attachment unit for a 230V power cable and a connecting device for connecting an LED module (8) and an LED lamp (9). The carrier plate extends a large surface over an entire front surface of the appliance base, and includes an opening for an electrical connector between the appliance base and the LED module. The carrier plate is utilized as a cooling body for the LED lamp, and an intermediate carrier is thermally connected between the LED lamp and the carrier plate.
