The present invention relates to a Treg cell population with therapeutic potential, wherein said population expresses at least 3 cytotoxic molecules selected from the group comprising granulysin, granzyme A, granzyme B, granzyme M, granzyme K, granzyme H and perforin. The present invention further relates to a method for identifying or selecting a Treg cell population with therapeutic potential, and to the use of said Treg cell populations for treating an unwanted immune response associated with transplantation or an allergic disease or an inflammatory condition or an autoimmune condition. |
