<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an available driving distance sufficient to be used by a user when allotting a vehicle to a user having a reservation, in a system in which a plurality of users share vehicles each having a battery-driven electric motor as a driving source. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle allocation device (1) allots vehicles in order that a plurality of users share vehicles (12a, 12b, 12c) each having a battery-driven electric motor as a driving source. When one user reserves a vehicle, the vehicle allocation device (1) receives the user's reservation information including time to start the usage and a destination, and then extracts a vehicle not reserved by another user at the reservation time as a vehicle-allocation candidate vehicle. The vehicle allocation device (1) determines whether a reservation-time battery level, which is a battery capacity at the reservation time of the vehicle-allocation candidate vehicle, exceeds a necessary battery capacity, which is necessary for the vehicle-allocation candidate vehicle to reach the destination. If the reservation-time battery level exceeds the necessary battery capacity, the vehicle-allocation candidate is permitted to be allotted to the one user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
