摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a player from feeling a sense of incongruity by reducing the time lag between an image and sound, in a performance of a game machine. <P>SOLUTION: A sound controller of this game machine has a plurality of channels (6 channels), and generates diverse sound (acoustics) such as voice, BGM, or effective sound. On the assumption that data transmission per channel needs 8 ms, a time Txmax necessary for the transmission thereof is 48 ms. The game machine starts the data transmission 24 ms that is the half of Txmax 48 ms earlier than screen display start timing t&alpha;. Just then, the data transmission and the reproduction of the sound of all the channels can be completed within &plusmn;32 ms from t&alpha;.
