PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fusion joint of the invention capable of certainly fusion bonding a resin pipe.SOLUTION: A tubular piece receiver electric fusion joint of the invention comprises: bosses 27a and 27b having terminal fittings 28a and 28b fastened thereto; an inner layer pipe 21 having a resistance wire 29 wound around an outer peripheral surface 21a and connected to the terminal fittings 28a and 28b; an outer layer pipe 22 formed on the outer peripheral surface 21a of the inner layer pipe 21; and a polyethylene resin pipe fusion-bonded to the ends of the inner layer pipe 21 and the outer layer pipe 22, in which a connection object resin pipe P1 is inserted into openings 23 of the inner layer pipe 21 and the outer layer pipe 22, and in a tubular piece receiver electric fusion joint 20A capable of fusion bonding the resin pipe P1, a salient 31 is formed on the side of the openings 23 of the bosses 27a and 27b, the salient 31 protruding toward any one of the outer peripheral surface 21a of the inner layer pipe 21 and the outer layer pipe 22 in a radial direction while a recess 32 fitted by the salient 31 is formed in the other. |
