A wireless communication system includes a mobile station (1) and a base station. The base station includes a blind decoding control unit that transmits a signal including a control signal serving as a trigger to change a decoding process to the mobile station (1) based on a result of measurement of the amount of data of the mobile station (1). The mobile station (1) includes a blind decoding control unit (112) that selects a signal format to be decoded upon reception of the control signal from the base station, and detects a control signal directed to the mobile station (1) by decoding the signal having the selected format among signals received from the base station. |
