<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of remaining austenite volume that realizes online and low-cost measurement of remaining austenite volume contained in a test object within a manufacturing process of the test object. <P>SOLUTION: A measuring method of remaining austenite volume in the invention that includes a step for using an eddy-current measuring device to measure a remaining austenite volume contained in a test object realizes online and low-cost measurement within a manufacturing process of the test object. The measuring method also realizes excellent and precise measurement through: a step for using a preliminarily acquired voltage difference ΔV, a remaining austenite volume and a parameter obtained from a relational expression of spheroidal carbide volume to obtain a parameter in two or more excitation frequencies; and a step for solving a simultaneous equation substituted into the expression. Therefore, the measuring method realizes excellent and precise measurement of remaining austenite volume that is contained in high carbon-chromium bearing steel subjected to predetermined heat treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
