PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined impulse current generator capable of testing resistance to a surge voltage generated by lightning and performing performance duty test on a load to be tested.SOLUTION: The combined impulse current generator includes a charge voltage selection section and a discharge waveform selection section, and further includes charge voltage supply means; voltage dividing means; polarity conversion relay means, discharge means, charge switching mode drive means, a vacuum switch section connected to apply a charge voltage to a load to be tested, RL circuit means, a current sensor for measuring a current waveform generated by the RL circuit means, and control means for controlling switching operations of a charge capacitor selection switch of the charge switching mode drive means to control switching operations of the vacuum switch section. |
