PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional method for measuring a partition coefficient puts a heavy load on the environment because requiring a large amount of compounds for preparation of a calibration curve, which is necessary for quantification of compounds in a water phase and in an organic phase, and is disadvantageous in simplicity and quickness because of a heavy work load and does not allow the use of compounds absorbing ultraviolet rays a little or not absorbing ultraviolet rays at all in the case of measurement using an HPLC including a UV detector or an ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscope.
SOLUTION: NMR is used to quantify compounds in a water phase and an organic phase to solve the problem.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
