摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for promoting crystallization for crystallizing a biopolymer efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A method for promoting crystallization of a biopolymer by a crystallization apparatus of a biopolymer containing a protein is provided. The crystallization apparatus includes: a crystallization solution of the biopolymer; a transparent conductor electrode formed flatly so as to have a direct parallel contact with the crystallization solution; an electrically insulating member clamped by the transparent conductor electrode, for holding the crystallization solution; a scattered light detection part for detecting forward small-angle scattering or backward small-angle scattering; and a control analysis part for analyzing a signal detected by the scattered light detection part. In this state, an approximately uniform electric field is applied to the crystallization solution from the transparent conductor electrode. Then, the crystallization solution is irradiated with light, and forward small-angle scattered light or backward small-angle scattered light from the crystallization solution is measured by the scattered light detection part. Thereafter, the state of the crystallization solution is analyzed by the control analysis part based on the intensity of the forward small-angle scattered light or the backward small-angle scattered light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
