摘要 The aim of the invention is to devise a method and an associated device for feeding in process waste gases and for controlling the waste gas volume in order to improve the furnace pressure stabilization, to increase the operational reliability of denitrification systems and to utilize the waste heat for process stabilization and for obtaining or recovering energy in glass melting and refining processes in transverse-fired furnaces or melting ends having regenerative heating units, in particular for flat glass production. According to the invention, use is made of a bypass (5), which leads from the flue (3) of the cooling tank (4) to the main waste gas duct (6) of a melting end (1) and has a control flap (7b) with a controller (10). In the method for feeding process waste gases and for controlling the waste gas volume for the purpose of furnace pressure stabilization during glass melting and refining processes in transverse-fired furnaces (1) having regenerative heating units (2), the waste gases from the flue (3) of a cooling tank (4) are conducted via a bypass (5) into a main waste gas duct (6) of the transverse-fired furnace (1), wherein at least one control flap (7a) in the flue (3) and/or at least one control flap (7b) in the bypass (5) are opened and closed. The invention can be applied to the production of flat glass.
