<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the sandwiching function of a pressing member to a belt in a belt fastener. <P>SOLUTION: The pressing member 15 and a locking member 24 are turnably supported to a fastener body 1 having a belt supporting part 6 where a belt 30 is supported adjustably in a longitudinal direction of the belt 30. The pressing member 15 takes a movement suppression state P15, in which the belt 30 is sandwiched between the pressing member 15 and the belt supporting part 6 so that the belt 30 is prevented from moving in the longitudinal direction, and a movement permission state Q15, in which the belt 30 is released from being sandwiched so that the belt 30 is permitted to move in the longitudinal direction. The locking member 24 takes a lock state P24, in which the pressing member 15 in the movement suppression state P15 is prevented from moving and the pressing member 15 maintains the movement suppression state P15, and a lock release state Q24, in which the pressing member 15 is released from the suppression and the pressing member 15 goes into the movement permission state Q15.
