<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device for a vehicle which enables a driver to recognize an approach to an object without optical guidance. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes: object detection sensors 11, 12 that detect a first distance to an object that is present on the left side and a second distance to an object that is present on the right side and a distance computing device 15; a pattern generating device 16 which generates a first visual pattern 21 that changes by corresponding to the first distance and a second visual pattern 22 that changes by corresponding to the second distance; and a display 17 which is arranged between an inner side of a door at a driver side and a near center Co of an automobile 1 and presents the first and second visual patterns 21, 22 at a peripheral vision of a driver 30. The first and second visual patterns 21, 22 are all comprised of a medium time frequency component and a low space frequency component and are presented on the display 17 to be positioned at the right and left with the driver 30 as a center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
