PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an expansion valve overcooling degree control to be satisfactorily performed in an air conditioner that performs the expansion valve overcooling degree control during a freezing cycle operation by avoiding liquid immersion phenomenon at the start of the freezing cycle operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioner (1, 101) performs a liquid immersion prevention control under which, at the start of a freezing cycle operation, a compressor (21) is set to a predetermined rotational speed higher than a target rotational speed until a determination is made that an overcooling degree reaches a target overcooling degree, and the compressor (21) is reduced to the target rotational speed after a determination is made that the overcooling degree reaches the target overcooling degree. |
